Also, I actually use my RS4 to carry organs (livers, kidneys, pancreas) for transplant.

How much mileage out of your clutch?

Hi,
I've got a 2007 RS4. It's got 41500 miles, and the clutch has started to slip occasionally. I took it to my dealer and they think I need a new clutch. Seems a little early, though I know it's a light feeling clutch for a fair amount of power. How long have your clutches lasted?

Tubi all the way

I went with Tubi. I did a lot of asking around and research on forums. I agree with the others -- the GMG system's pretty nice. I wasn't looking to replace the downpipes or cats since I'm not mechanically savvy enough to tinker or fix. I'm totally dependent on my warranties and dealer. The Tubi is o...

Michelin PS2s

Sounds like the Eagle F1 Asymmetrics are very good. I know they won a recent contest in EVO or CAR. I live in the U.S. and I'm on my second set of tires. My OE were Pirelli P Zero Rossos that lasted about 17000 (really noisy and felt very soft, like they rolled a lot toward the end). The new PZeros ...

Power confirmation

Living in the United States near some large hillclimbs (greater than 5000 ft altitude changes over 4-5 miles) I can tell you I don't doubt the power claim. I can't tell you how many times I've blown by BMW 550s and turbo Subaru Legacies going uphill. The RS4 is deceptively smooth and doesn't give th...

Russian m3 dude or envious kid

this Russian m3 guy's comments often sound authoritative but are episodically immature, inflammatory, and inconsistent like he's never actually driven any car before. He reminds me of when I was about 12 or 13 years old and I would argue with my friends about who the best NBA player was or which car...

Turning heads

Almost weekly for the entire last year, I get compliments about my RS4. I've had people pull up next to me in parking lots just to get a look, as well as employees at the hospital I work at randomly approach me just to chat about it. It's true, though that most of these people are petrolheads or wom...

tire pressures

I just purchased a new set of Michelin Pilot Sport PS2s. Both these and the original Pirelli P zero rossos I ran on my RS4 stated 41 psi for each tire. I simply confirmed the 41 psi at a tire shop and stored the current pressures. It turned off the TPMS warning. They also say that if you've confirme...

SD card quirks

Just make sure the titles of your tracks and folders don't exceed 16-20 characters.

I had heard the limitation was 16 characters but I seem to get away with slightly more.

Range on U.S. highways

I've got a US spec RS4 which is admittedly much heavier than the European spec cars. Even way back before break-in (around 2000 miles on the odometer), I drove from Charleston, SC to my hometown in Tennessee. I traveled the entire 360 miles on a single tank and only just received the yellow low fuel...
