Any advice or tips please.
Ordered all the bits, belts,tensioner & wheel.
No manual or special tools.
Done a couple of Fords before.

My s2 had the exact same problem as you describe.
The rod on the clutch master cylinder bent.
The clutch got harder and harder then the rod broke.
