Warranty company authorised replacement TPMS

My warranty company has authorised the replacement of a faulty tpms they have also just paid for a faulty parking sensor. They initially declined but when I rang and complained cause they paid for 1 earlier this year they explained that they needed to know that it was definately a different sensor. ...

Tyre repair Goo

I would assume you could by similar goo in Halfords for all the good it does.

Or I s'pose you could try the stuff they flog on ideal world that you put in the tyre before you get a puncture.

Just a thought, what is the range of these devices could you get an erroneous reading from a car parked next to yours?

I'm sure it doesn't matter as as soon as you move off you would get a correct reading but as more cars are fitted with these devices it may become an issue.

I am a RS6.com member but they are US based i belive. I will post on their forum this afternoon though, see if they respond. Amazingly I was discussing this just the other day my car is currently worth 32k if written off as I have the return to invoice insurance.

Unless of course there is a get out clause for the insurers!

Langstone - RS6 Avant - 49384 - Audi Approved Newton Abbot - 06/09/07 - shock absorbers replaced under parts warranty.

This is all that is written on the invoice and I cannot recall any further.
