2001 Model S3 Quattro, this is an 'X' plate facelift model with the single piece headlights, updated rear lights and updated interior. Having covered 46k miles it is fully serviced by Audi the last service being on the 5th September 03. The car is still under Audi warranty. Finished in striking Imol...

Thanks for the suggestions, I think I'll try both. If I complain enought to Audi will I get the MAF changed under warrenty? (How much are they to buy?)

Do all S3's do this? When Accelerating briskly, change up 1st to 2nd, revs hang or increase! 2nd to 3rd revs hang or increase again, same 3rd to 4th, and this is with full lift-off the loud pedal!

Why is this? Does anyone know if it can be rectified its really annoying.

I deliberatly post on AS-net to get a reply from John. He has now help resolve the problem, (more details on AS-net). To summarise I will shortly recieve a copy of bhp, and rolling road print out. And my wheels cost £1125.20. Also as I stated on AS-net John (Wando) wasvery helpful on the day and off...

I have contact AmD and they have told me that I will not be having my money back. I have disputed this but to no-avil. I have now asked for the power printout/rolling road report as this is what I have paid for, and am awaiting a responce!

I agree, for the work carried out £50 would have been fair.
If I had been given a printout, told my power output etc, It wouldnt have been so bad, but I got nothing. I only found out that they had taken the money by checking my monthly statement!
