I have just had another oil and filter change and got the techs to check this. They had a careful look over all the suspension components and there was nothing untoward. They then compared it to another RS4 that was in and it too did the same. The conclusion their chief tech came up with was that gi...

Kimi Raikkonen has one (RS4) as his daily driver. So does Juan Pablo Montoya. Nuff said.

Graunching noise at full lock

I get a graunching noise and sensation through the wheel when on full lock at very low speeds. It feels like one wheel is losing grip, almost as if I'm on snow. Any ideas what this could be - problem with the front diff maybe?

RE: Re: RE: Re: Digital TV Tuner Upgrade

Like very many RS4 owners I wanted to have bluetooth fitted but keep the RS4 wheel. After much searching in London NOBODY could do this with OEM parts. If it hadn't been for Craigyb I might have a large number of points/fines by now. He solved a big problem for me, and from what I saw never explicit...

Re: RE: Much better

Do the rs4 flaps with s button pressed mean that they are open all the time or is the rs4 system like porsches in that they open initially and close when the revs rise? If this is the case then I pressume that clamping the hoses makes it louder on the move. Anyone know? Unlike the PSE, with "S" pre...

Re: RE: Retrofitting Ambient lighting

I think the two small holes I have must be some form of sensors or mics then :? Do these lights you have come on with side lights or do yo have to put them on manualy? Graham Nope they are red led's that come on with the main lights. Can't say I notice them much though, nor the footwell lights. LE

No, silver. Driven by a youngish dude. Swedish plates. As fast as anything I've seen on the road.

On any motorway there is always some muppet who overtakes in a blind/suicidal way, and if you have ever driven in Southern Europe you will know that you NEED good braking power! agreed however I am not convinced ceramic outperforms steels on the first 2 or 3 times this happens, ceramics have better...

One for the B5/Swedish Enthusiasts

Took the car to Sweden on the ferry recently, when crossing the Oresund bridge from Denmark to Sweden I passed a B5 RS4 Avant. Next thing I know he comes screaming past me at unbelievable speed. Played tag for a while but I couldn't help notice how incredibly quick his car was. One indicator was tha...

What's the worst fuel consumption you've had?

Managed to get mine down to 8mpg whilst accelerating from 120 to 150 leptons (on a private runway of course  ).

Bluetooth

Like most I went for the "proper" steering wheel and didn't like the phone cradle, but would like bluetooth. I know Craigyb is the man however I live in SW London and 7hrs round trip it is too much and I don't fancy fitting Craiygb's kit myself. There are other bluetooth kits apparently (Parrot, Nok...
