There are after market units available, which can be controlled via the head unit, but unless your using the Audi...

RE: Pairing RNS-E to Nokia
If you search for the Audi Bluetooth module is should be Audi HU XXXX and the pin code is 1234. But unless you have the very latest Q module the N95 will not transfer phone book and I'm not sure how well the phone keep connection with the Bluetooth module.

can-bus is the communication for the car. The infotainment can-bus which is used for the navigation, gives information like ignition on/off, lights on/off, time, speed (A3, A4 B6/B7) information to the DIS, communication to the phone system. If you don't have can-bus then the RNS-E will not work. Th...

No, trying to complete a dash transplant would be a massive job, and I don't think it would fit. To retrofit fit RNS-E into your car, would require the following parts Double Din Centre console Double Din Cage Double Din Air Con unit (I think you could get one form ebay) Double Din gearstick surroun...

When you say won't connect, do you mean you cannot pair the device, or it won't download the phonebox etc.?

So you will need the can-bus emulator, but trying to find the double din cage second hand is almost impossible, I've been looking for months. If you what this done quickly then your going to have to buy the bits new. I also need the bits for my B5 A4 I could see if the dealer would be will to do a d...

Question, do you have digital dash clock? If not you going to have to buy a wiring harness with a can-bus emulator. These can be purchased from Kufatec. If you do have the digital clocks then you can get the can-bus High & Low from the instrument cluster, but you will have a problem with the time be...

P_G Just got your message this evening and I'll give you a ring tomorrow. From what I know the homelink sender unit is around £500 to buy from Audi, you may be able to get a cheaper but not much. You would then need the harness and the new sun visor, with the homelink buttons. So I would think your ...
