Update - dec 06 Well, she's hasnt found a new home yet - and recently been into Audi for a new rear wheel bearing. She's now taxed & tested until Oct 07 - and driving as great as usual! Still not 100% sure I want her to go, but having had time to put just 100 miles in the last 6 weeks, i feel sorry ...

I bought one of those for my B5 S4, from an audi dealer I think it was a whole £75.. they also fitted it for £120 including making the wiring harness and turning on cruise in the software!

insurance can be a nightmare - i've had my S4 and RS4 with admiral since i got it - last year on the rs4 was £650 fully comp class 1 business use... im 31 with 5 yrs bonus & no points etc.. and my bro's also on the policy (26 5 yrs bonus, no points) Tried Audi's own insurance and they wouldnt cover ...

I believe that business use has a couple of levels - i think class 3 is for hire or reward, class 2 is like a sales rep pounding the roads. class 1 is to pre-arranged appointments ..
