If they did the rocker cover gaskets then it will be the VVT actuator seals that need changing, nearside head at the back, offside head at the front. when i took my old s4 one apart i really struggled to stop the boot pulling out of the caliper when trying to get the piston back in, although saying that i was trying to get an old boot back in that had poped out, so had quite a nasty kink in it, ended up just putting it back together and getting a...

ill do mine over christmas, any tips on getting the dusk skirt thing on properly, is it best to over stretch it round the piston and slide it to the end that goes in the caliper, then seat the other end into the caliper before pushing the piston into the caliper? or did you find a better way?

no problem, any time. May be wise to get the coolant sensor done at the same time, there is a code flagged which could relate to thermostat or sender, but for what it costs do the sensor first
