RS2 on a Classic Insurance Policy
I want to stop using the RS2 over the winter as it is costing a fortune in spring repairs due to Scotlands lovely heavy road salting and buy a runabout to take the abuse. So, I've tried a few places for Classic insurance so I can use the NCD on the runabout but most seem to want the car to either be...

RE: Re: RE: Re-map in the North West
A-road and motorway for me gives 26 to 27 mpg. Tend to 'enjoy' the A-road but stick to 70 on the motorways. Local 'cold' running commute for 7 miles I get an average 23 mpg. Maybe I treat it too gently!!

Exhaust Cat Back
Might also be worth looking at a custom system. When I was looking late last year there were a few companies doing some good prices, Pro Speed Exhausts who got good feedback on S2FORUM quoted £790 fitted including a new sportcat. I found a good condition standard system second hand in the end and st...

RE: Milltek?
Yup, seems to be the case. I can get a cat back from shop stop but not the Downpipe and Cats. Anybody any suggestions for a fabricator for the downpipe? Alternatively, anybody have experience with the Quattronics Turbo Back system?

Milltek?
Think I'm looking for Downpipe, Cats and Cat Back for my car but none of the specialists seem to list them anymore. I had heard that Milltek might be stopping doing them, is this now the case? If so, does anyone know of any that are hidden in garages anywhere?

Part Nos?
Can anyone confirm if these are a direct fit for the standard RS2 rear discs please? Porsche 928/944T rear rotor (951 352 041 01) Both 928 and RS2 discs seem to share: 299 x 24 disc size 5 x 130 bolt spacing 71mm height from the back of the disc to the wheel mounting surface 180mm inner diameter ins...

Aux Radiator
Right, another week another problem. Coming home last night and we have small plumes of steam coming from under the bonnet. What now!! Turns out the core of my Aux Rad is falling to pieces. Not leaking enough to drop everything on the floor in a oner so got home okay. Anyway, rather than going to th...

RE: Tyres - Toyo Proxes T1R 225/45/17
I have the Proxes on my Sunbeam Lotus and they seem good. Can't comment on how they would be on the Audi though as it weighs 600kgs more........... I got a good deal on Kumho KU31s earlier this year (£55 a piece, from a 'source' and had them fitted when my wheels were refurbed. I have seen them for ...

Thanks for the offer Vas but if I end up at a dealers I want the work fully warranted which would only happen with parts that have sourced themselves I believe. Next question. When my mate was looking at some other stuff under the car recently he did comment on the fact the exhaust would have to com...
