Yes, I was second in the dealer for mine and was quoted mid march,

the guy in front of me made some changes to his spec and he is now being quoted June/july!!

I'm not a fan of sun-roofs , esp with climate.. so it's not an option for me.

You really do need to go through the price list with a magnifying glass, as it its easy to spec something, which deletes something eles!

And no.. the dealers don't know about the gun metal rims.. and if you try to change your order it will go to the back of the que.. that's what i was told anyway. I've also gone with the tech pack, as a £50,000 car really needs sat nav.

Don't go for the arm-rest phone as it deletes the sports steering wheel with the sports button. Go for the dash mounted phone instead!.

You end up with the big, multi-function steering wheel.. not what you want in your RS4!

Shame.. Kevin was a good bloke who had a real passion for the brand. You serious? Perhaps you weren't around during the sagas of 2001. He could not have handled it worse if he tried. Yea, i wasn't in an RS4 then.. so i missed most of what happened.. heard the stories of course. I take it he didn't ...

Looks ok mate.. be careful speccing different steering wheel and phone prep as it can delete the standrad wheel with the sports button on it! The one that boosts the side bolsters and changees the throttle response. I've also gone with the DVD, 6 cd changer as i feel a £50K car should come with it ....

Sorry Phil, but what a load of bollocks.. if Audi have something to say to me, then they should do it in person. You (phil) have done a great job for them, but you shouldn't have to. If they value their customers (which i sometimes doubt) then they have a list of orders (which i can't imagine is THA...

There were more than a few cases over here where M3 engines failed and had to be replaced.

Interesting point about the pistons!!.. maybe they need to use a different alloy?

But you have only been waiting 3 months kc Only because I'd be waiting 12 months or more for the avant to come out. I've had one on order (ok, no deposit down) since i picked up my RS6. The dealer knows to put the next RS on order, but i asked them to wait for the avant, but because it's so long aw...
