I have the Mov´it front and rear brakes and I don´t have the sensor. You don´t need it, just check the pads from time to time.

I have the MTM manifolds. They cost arround 5500,- Eur plus fitting. It´s difficult to say if they are worthed the money because I´ve done this engine upgrade together with others. It´s a very expensive part but when you will see the stock and MTM manifolds next to each other you will laugh.

If I were you Dave, I wouldn´t consider the Turbo at all compared to the GT3. Definately GT3 would be the choise! The driving experience in the Turbo in not that far from your RS4, both are heavy AWD but the GT3 will be a different experience, I´m sure you will not regret.

First impressions: + the back of the car, really looks nice + high rev engine with no turbos + interior looks nice and the seats seems to have much more side "keeping" than the B5 Recaro + the wide fenders, especially the rear one - the weight, 1650kgs is way to much for a sports car - the front nos...

I agree with feelou, lower weight is the way to go now and not increasing the power. If you need any advise, let me know. Btw, is the Sportec pedals close enough so that you can put some revs when shifting down, while braking with your right foot? I mean like in the racing cars. I´m searching for su...

Note that MTM doesn´t stop at 490HP but they also have a 520HP and 600HP conversion for the RS4. They just don´t show those conversions on their price list. Contact them for more info.

Congratulations John, excellent choise! The GT3 CS is my second solution. The only thing I´m afraid in this case is that I would modify the car to get it closer to the RS and spend lots of wasted money. With the RS there is nothing to improove. But the GT3 CS looks better than the RS for sure....

I had the KN filter in my car also and I didn´t notice any difference. Now I have the standard filter back because guys from MTM kept telling me that I don´t have any benfits from it and I only risk the damage of the air flow meter. If you will install it, then just be careful when it rains, don´t g...

Thanks Jani, that is an interesting info. So a well modified RS4 with 460PS, good brakes, suspension and Corsa makes 1,14.6 in Hockenheim. This is not bad at all I would say. But still more than a second slower than the CSL. DaveP, of course if you give the RS4 to a racing team then it will do it mu...

I bet, I think, I´m sure... That´s all about nothing. The CSL did 7:50 min !!! and that´s a fact! Who will get me a certain test of a well modified RS4 in Norschleife? Oh and DaveP, about the HUGE DIFFERENCE the cup tyres make. Do you have a set of Corsas for your car? Try to go to the track and do ...

You bet DaveP? Ok then. Who can find out what lap times the RS4 did at Hockenheim and Nordschliefe? I guess it is arround 1,18 vs 1,13.5 in Hockenheim and 8,20 min vs 7,50 in Nordschleife. Of course those times should be the one of a stock RS4. The best modified RS4 from my point of view canno...

RS4 is about the same with the CSL on the race track? Where did you get this info RS4ever? The CSL is a competitor for GT3 RS and Stradale on the race track! Do you think that even the best modified RS4 can do 1.13,5 in Hockenheim and 7.50 min in Nordschlife? NOP!!!

Was I right in thinking that you save 60kg with a pair of these? The standard seats are fcuk heavy, I had one out in my S3 and struggled to carry it far. (mental note to go to the gym :D )

60kgs? of course not! 35kgs I think.
The standard ones are 25kgs each and the racing shells 7kgs each.
