Si, I was just talking to you-know-who (car is in for leaking dampers...) about a non-valved resonated system for mine. He mentioned that you were hanging-on to the car now - I'd like to hear yours, as I think non-res and non-valved will be too much for daily drive (and visiting clients). Drop me a ...

Had the same thing the other day. All credit to Craig at Portsmouth Audi - called him mid - afternoon, he was here with another car by the end of the day, took mine back, strpped the bootlid, checked another couple of "niggles" and brought it back freshly valeted. Seems to know his stuff on the RS/R...

Tried lifting the seat as shown, but no joy. Don't want to force it only to find I've created a more expensive problem. Guess I'll have to see what the dealer says :?

Thanks anyway.

Yeah, rings on the top of your knob can be a pain... She does like the idea of being married to the car though - apparently that gives her the right to give it a good thrashing now  I've told her to stick to flying when she needs her adrenelin thrills, but apparently the mile high club is bey...

HELP

Does anyone know how easy (or otherwise) it is to remove the rear seat cushion? Especially for someone not known for his car DIY skills. My wedding ring came off and I heard i drop but cannot fint it anywhere under the front seats and the only obvious holes are for the seat belts and then down under...

Simon FV8 - which dealer do you use locally? I'm 'twixt P'mth and S'oton and don't know which local dealer to take her to for servicing. As I am considering both the Milltek and re-map, a sympathetic dealer might be worth a chat with first.

But Milltek offer a non-valved cat-back system do they not? Would this not present the same problem if any existed with the valves open all the time? Rather than remove the pipes and plug them and the valves, would it not be possible to just clamp the pipes shut in situ - which can be readily revers...

Being on the south coast I'm closer to DMS than MRC (though its not that far really) and have no prior experience of either. But reading this it seems both tuners are offering laregely similar performance gains form their re-maps. So it could just be a matter of location / preference / experience / ...

Just to add to the debate, I'm 5'11" and about 12st. Came from an M3 which I always thought was pretty good on the seat comfort front. Test drives in both cab and saloon were only with the Recaros, and whilst they were comfortable, I found myself moving around on the seats a bit too much under "enth...

I'm picking-up my new beast in March - no car for six weeks, so cannot wait! My nearest dealers are southampton/portsmouth/salisbury, but I'd like to know of any decent, reliable and knowledgeable dealers elsewehere in the area (Camberley clearly gets a vote, but as I'm new to Audi, I don't know abo...

Thanks Nipper, As I'm not buying the car to sell-on in 6 or 9 months, but to keep for a couple of years then I've decided to go for what I want out of it, not what dealers are saying will popular (or unpopular) come re-sale. Obviously, there is a caveat to this and I won't go stupid on a spec that w...

simple1, Thanks for your comments. I had the chance of a Schnitzer system on a pre-owned M3, but found the same issue - sounded great above 5k rpm, but seemed boomy below that, especially at some normal cruise speeds, so put me off. I guess the problem is more in the sound insulation: the exhaust no...

Hi guys, Been lurking on here for while genning-up on the RS4, but this is my first post. I'm looking for something to replace my two year old M3, having most recently come via a couple of tweaked Imprezas and and an Evo. The M3 is very impressive, but the BMW brand has no appeal for me and the new ...
