It´s running like the old RS4/RS6 turbos, almost no lag. But as I didn´t change rods, I decided to make a remap that should never go over 1.5 bar. Boost gets 1.5 at 4000 rpm and stays there until 7000 rpm. Full boost at 4000rpm, that seems quite a late or is it tuned that way to spare the rods? A...

We dynoed a french S4 with stock heads and lots of stuff done around that at 560 crank and 730Nm. more could be done but not sure how much more!!! Sounds very good. So I assume this was done with std cams also? What kind of intake mods is required for that kind on power ? The reason for asking is i...

Re: RE: Re: RE: Miles to go before empty...
how do you calibrate the DIS? My fuel consumption shows ~16mpg but I don´t believe it´s accurate. The DIS went crazy after remap and even the fuel consumption would/could raise I don´t believe THAT much after a remap.Dippy wrote:I have calibrated my DIS (yes it was inaccurate before I did it)

I know a few guys here in Finland who has MRC map and got their map remotely. Doug: Could you enlight me a littl...

Mikse, reading this but again, have you fitted the new bigger injectors without having a remap done??? No, remap is done and the injector size "should" have been compensated but maybe the tuner isn´t quite good with these cars as I thought and now he say the injectors are too big and refuses to tu...

who tuned your car? best to get a wideband on the car and see what it is doing part throttle and wot. i would be surprised if you are washing the bores so much as to add fluid to the oil that you can measure - you do get fuel in oil but not 100mls worth! The car was tuned by a local tuner but appar...
