Nice video PauloM exept you can´t see the rpm needle behind the steering wheel until 5000rpm so it´s hard to "guess" what happens between 2500-5000rpm, with boost I mean . Have you tested how fast it goes from 100-200km/h?

It´s running like the old RS4/RS6 turbos, almost no lag. But as I didn´t change rods, I decided to make a remap that should never go over 1.5 bar. Boost gets 1.5 at 4000 rpm and stays there until 7000 rpm. Full boost at 4000rpm, that seems quite a late or is it tuned that way to spare the rods? A...

PauloM, Interresting setup you have. Do you have any intake mods like manifold or heads/cams? When those rs6 turbos start to make boost/power? I´m thinking of same kind of setup but I`m worried about the lag.

We dynoed a french S4 with stock heads and lots of stuff done around that at 560 crank and 730Nm. more could be done but not sure how much more!!! Sounds very good. Any updates to this question/answer? For example if going for bigger turbos like straight RS6 or something similar? Still won´t get 520ish?

how do you calibrate the DIS? My fuel consumption shows ~16mpg but I don´t believe it´s accurate. The DIS went crazy after remap and even the fuel consumption would/could raise I don´t believe THAT much after a remap.

Let´s update this a little. Problem solved. Overfuelling was caused by a crappy tuner. Finally got Mihnea to do the map for me and no overfuelling anymore and the car runs good. So BIG thanks to Mihnea

No, remap is done and the injector size "should" have been compensated but maybe the tuner isn´t quite good with these cars as I thought and now he say the injectors are too big and refuses to tu...

who tuned your car? best to get a wideband on the car and see what it is doing part throttle and wot. i would be surprised if you are washing the bores so much as to add fluid to the oil that you can measure - you do get fuel in oil but not 100mls worth!
