I thought ( when contemplating an S3) that from Y reg onwards they were 225, different engine code I seem to remember. Still I guess it isn't that important now it has been mapped

Hi all, As a result of my inspection a new MAF has been ordered; but more of a concern to myself is that on the receipt it says that "Bank 1 turbo leaking oil". He seemed to think that the symtpons experienced could be the MAF and that would be a good (cheap) place to start and I am not bothered if it doesn't totally cure it as I am sure it needs doing anyw...

Rob, When they did the idler pulley I asked whether or not it was worth doing the timing belt etc at the same time. The guy said no, as it was the other side of the block (excuse terminology here) and that it would take up loads more time and expense (and it has been done). I don't have vag-com pers...
