Just before I thought about selling my RS4 my dad had his R32 up for sale. He offered it to me at a great price, but I stupidly turned him down not really wanting to part with mine. Now, his has gone, and so has mine. His car was immaculate, and I don't think I'd get anything as good for anywhere ne...

RE: Re: What would you buy if you had to down-grade?
I think I'm pretty sold on the idea of a M3. Anything I need to look out for? I think I'd like the SMG gearbox (means my wife would drive it), but I hear a lot of bad things about them? They do an SMG II too. Are they as bad as people say? or is it just that they can be expensive if they go wrong?

What would you buy if you had to down-grade?
Today is a sad day. My car is now sold, and will be leaving me tonight. :( I've decided to take a step back from having so much money wrapped up in a car, and have set myself a budget of <£15k. If you had to sell your RS4 and were left with a budget of £15k, but didn't want to lose too much of the e...

Nearly failed MOT on emissions?!?!
Today I had to take my car for its first MOT. Everything was going well (as expected) until the emissions test. The Lambda was reading high (by quite a bit). The guy ended up leaving it, doing so other things, and then retesting it. Luckily, everything was ok the second time around. Now, should the ...

RE: Re: RE: Facebook group for RS246
At the end of the day Facebook is a social networking site. If you are mug enough to put personal information on there that can be abused, you really deserve everything you get. The security on Facebook is pretty good and the privicy options allow you to limit access to exactly what you want. I neve...

This thread is really making me smile. How can a car that went out of production a year ago be getting more common? Well, considering most dealers filled their boots with orders once they knew production was stopping, there was a flood of them. My local dealer had at least 4 on the forecourt at one...

Maybe it's just where I live then. You never know, maybe my v8 rumbling into the station car park has inspired these people to buy one. ;) Like I said, there are three other RS4 B7's in the same station car park every morning, and I pass another one sitting in the station car park at the next stop t...

Are RS4's becoming common on our roads?
I remember when I bought mine, over two years ago, they were very few and far between. I'd go weeks without seeing another RS4. I liked it. It made the Marque feel that much more special. Recently, I'm seeing them everywhere. I live in Caterham and see serveral driving around the town. I can garante...

Paulo how Much dd youpay for your serivce, was it a Longlife one? I had mine done today (second service at 23k)! It was about £350 if my memory serves me correctly. That didn't include pads (or discs) as they need to order them in. It wasn't a longlife service either..... I didn't think they did lo...

New pads and discs??!?!
Just had my 20k service (second service) and have been told I need front pads and discs. My pads are 95% worn, and apparently my discs are scored. Talking to the technician, it's apparently a common problem with the RS4's due to the compound of the discs. They also told me the RS4 discs can't be ski...
