Your clutch issue!!

My dealership received a bigger hydraulic line for the clutch, Audi has finally agreed that the original line is not big enough, and was installed improperly. After getting mine replaced my clutch is engaging oh so sweet, I feel like I am driving a completely different vehicle now. Good luck to you ...

Nice feel much better now!!

we dont get a brushed aluminium steering wheel here. Its plastic painted in aluminium effect and feels very cheap. I prefer full leather wheel to the cheap plastic one audi have put on the european rs4's. Also only hand brake and gear stick are aluminium. Oh and the start button. Press. BRRRMMMMM!

Audi.com is not an American site, audiusa.com is. VW504 has been used for over 10 years by VW-Audi, VW502 is newer and is recommended in the US due to our stop and go traffic, much more crowded roads on this side of the world.

RE: B7 RS4 Reliability

None taken, I am very aware that here in the US we do not get the true European engineering due to government laws. No start button, no brushed steel steering wheel, no Recaro bucket seats, no Sport button on steering wheel, etc, etc....

If you go to Audi.com, there is a complete list of oils that can be used for your engines. Many are 5w-40 and many are 0w-40, Audi does not recommend any type of oil with a low viscosity like 30. Nidfix here in the USA Audi uses VW502-00

My low oil light came on at 640 miles, MOBIL 1 0W-40 Fully Synthetic, best oil in the world, if not ask Porsche, Chevrolet Corvette, Ferrari, Aston Martin, etc.

My oil light went on at 600 miles on my B7 RS4, one of many headaches I've already dealt with at just 1600 miles. (Clutch master cylinder replaced before delivery, oil light on at 600 miles, busted CV boot at 1600 miles, yes it is currently in the dealer) ENJOY this GREAT $80,000 car!!!

B7 RS4 Reliability

So far my B7 RS4 has been nothing but a nightmare, it came with a defective master clutch cylinder right out of GERMANY, up on the lift before I can even drive it once. Now after 1600 miles is back on the lift due to a busted CV boot, I will be sure to tell my cousin from Chicago to post his experie...
