Re: Why the RS 3 handles so badly

http://thumbsnap.com/P87ZwNm0 Lol, I saw that pic on PH as part of the RS3 handling is poor because of the boat anchor of an engine out front and just laughed because obviously the rest of the car weighs absolutely nothing and has no compensatory effect. Not for one minute saying the RS3 is the ult...

Re: Timed acceleration runs

You can see where forced induction benefits the '3 compared to Graeme's time. I didn't think it would be so pronounced.

They are not going to when they are 17's but are still classified as v-spokes on the configurator.

Re: V spokes becoming too common?

Probably because Audis are common now doesn't help. How does the A1 and RS 3 compare size wise? A1 is definitely more compact than the 3, particularly in the rear and boot section but nice ergonomics and the ride / handling are very good / direct/ communicative. If they put a turbo 5-pot in it, it ...

Re: V spokes becoming too common?

Got v-spokes on our A1 Sportback and Rotors on the RS3, both now common as mook.

SOLD Kestrel DA6-Pro Machine Polisher+Assorted Pads/Polishes

I have for sale my Kestrel DA6 Pro Dual Action Polisher plus all the kit you will need to take up amateur detailing. Reason for selling is that with increased role at work I just don't get the time to detail our cars myself any more. Good thing with a DA polisher is you can't do serious damage with ...

Re: Police Interceptors - Flicking the V

More important for me was the Officers statement "I may have been in a rush to answer a call" but didn't need his blues and twos on. So how the hell does he expect joe public to be able to distinguish him in his unmarked 530d as being in a rush from any other aggressive bloke driving a 5 series BMW....

Re: Alfa Romeo 4C...

4C is a great concept poorly executed. In that the carbon tub work, suspension etc. is great but the trim material quality is poor and as soon as they changed the concept's headlights to those bug eyes visually for me it has spoiled it. There is space for the 3.2 V6 in the rear but then it changes w...

That would nearly make it worth the premium, looking for a job at Audi?

Otherwise what a con. Do what Outlaw did instead and save yourself £15k

Re: Pre Delivery Detailing/Winter Wheels

Ultimately sealants and waxes offer great beading, easy cleaning and in the case of G-Techniq / Ceramashield some chemical layered protection against UV fade, swirling, holograming and scratches but none protect against stone chips, that's where protective films come in

Re: Pre Delivery Detailing/Winter Wheels

I have 3M Ventureshield on the entire front end of my car and have done since new at the end of 2012. Small amount of heat either from boiled kettle steam or a paint stripper gun to the affected area where it is scratched and the film reforms. It also reforms itself under normal environmental condit...
