K&N filter/Nationality of RS4 owners

Hi guys,

I remember some of you have K&N filters installed. What does it do (power/sound)? Do you need to change the set-up or just plug it in?

What is the nationality split-up of RS4 owners?

Happy New Year!

TV Module

Hi guys, My RS4 of March 01 has the Navi Plus. Now I plan to buy the TV module. However, my dealer has difficulty in answering my q's what type I can buy. They know everything about the S4, but the RS4 is possibly too rare a beast. Also the Germans from Audi need a lot of time to answer (holidays?)....

Hi, Gmbh normally refers to the Quattro company. This is the special Audi motorpsort company where the RS4 was made. So if you see anything like Gmbh brakes or so, these are the sports brakes made by Quattro.

Thanks guys! It's great to be an RS4 driver again. That smooth speed, I really missed it. I'll have a look at Ebay for the TV thing. At the same dealer I handed in my 993 4S for an M3. What a car is that! A real raw beast. Its looks are more like the RS4, but in driving it is closer to the 4S. Havin...

I'm back!!!

Hi guys, I'm back in business. Last April my brilliant black  beast was stolen at Schiphol Airport, no trace of it since. Possibly it ended up in the hands of some East European drugs dealer. So, I bought myself a "new" one, same black  monster, bit older, better on the outside, pity ...

Somebody stole my baby!!!

Some idiot has stolen my beloved car, the brilliant black beast. My RS4 was stolen at Schiphol Airport between Monday afternoon and Wednesday afternoon. It was fitted with 5-spoke RS6 wheels. Dutch license plate 68-NG-VN, frame no WAUZZZ8DZ1N903903. If you happen to come across it, please inform me ...

Re: Winter tyres!

Just got two new front tyres (some silly nail that suddenly crossed the road, couldnot evade it). Audi service centre put 2 Michelin Pilot Sports. However, the type ends with 90V * whereas behind I have 94Y Extra Load. Have they fitted the rights ones? According to Michelin they may be "too light", ...

Re: Check this on ebay......

The German brochures are in lesser fashion. Saw one change hands at Ebay last week for a single Euro.

Re: Need some Autobahn suggestions

Just returned from Germany. Went up to the Oberhausen straight and touched 270. Not much traffic, but windy and a lot of leafs flying around. Good flat track. I'll be back here. Incredibly how slow it is if you're down to 120 when you cross the Dutch border (poli...

Re: Abt, MTM or anyone else?

The main difference would be that Audi continues its guarantee with the ABT stuff, as this is their house tuner. I doubt whether they would treat MTM in the same way. For a 420hp set Audi NL would charge EUR 3,200 or 2,000 in sterling. Looks a bit high t...

Need some Autobahn suggestions

Hi there! As I will be spending a weekend in Germany I am in need of some Autobahn suggestions.I will be travelling from Amsterdam to Koblenz. Do any of you, especially the German members, have some fast tracks in mind (bitte ohne Stau, Strassenarbeiten oder Polizei) where I can use the full potenti...

Gotcha, gotcha, gotcha!!!

Hi guys, just to say that I've now become a real member of this family. Bought myself a beautiful low-mile RS4, left my T4 with the dealer. It really is a fabulous car, so smooth, so fast, so brilliantly black. It is a standard type, no racy extras (yet). Will use the monster for daily traffic. Hope...
