Hi Eric, Good to see that there are still a few of the old ones around. I haven't been on the site for a while either. Taipan should meet Oopsey, as she is still on good nicks too. I am looking into the RS6 as well, as my B5 RS4 is getting a bit old. However it is still great fun to drive. I do driv...

RE: Re: Mitcheline Tyres
The 42 is the result of the original RS4 soft rim fiasco. I just haven't recovered yet. Tyre wear is totally even and I did not bend a rim since I have dropped the soft ones.

Mitcheline Tyres
I accidentally found a side wall fracture/ bubble on my Mitcheline 255/35/19 Pilot sports on my wife's RS6 last week. Closer inspection identified another 2 damaged tyres. I had one changed a year ago for the same. So 4 tyres in one year. Obviously my wife did hit a pothole or two... I did it myself...

Hi Michael, What a coincidence! I haven't been on the site for a year or two myself and was just browsing ( I am loking for a ISOFIX Child seat booster) when I found your posting. I am in the same position as you are. I did take the new RS4 ,The S6 and The S8 out and found the S6 a dog, The S8 a nic...

7 seater
Was a 7 seat an option for the RS6?
Does anybody know of a car that had the extra 2 seats fitted to the back?
It was available for the Allroad.

RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Isofix
I had ISOFIX retrofitted to both m Rs4 and Allroad so no problems. YOu have the part numbers now. I use a towel under and behind the seats. (Britex ISOFIX duo)
Isofix is easy to click in and out and is safer (when combined ) than the stock seatbelt fixation Yoko
