Dont forget the labour rate of £98 plus VAT. I had the cambelt change the service and new rear discs and pads plus new undertray and a new set of wipers.......£2500 all inclusive, they felt charitable as the origional bill was £2900. Jokers!!

So I posted a tipic already today on the 40K service and then found this thread. I have my RS6 in at Leeds Audi today for 40k service when my mileage is 37.5k. get this...In addition to the Cam belt change they say I need a new undertray as mine is cracked (this I can live with) they also said I nee...

What the best price anyone has had for major Cam belt service. I have mine in at Leeds Audi and the quote I just got back made me choke!!

For the record last week the price dropped on line to 36,850. Took the trip across to the dealer now Audi in Leeds and negotiated price down to 33,260 with road tax,next service and Auto Glym finish. Best bit was I got rid of the BMW 730i for sensible money...jesus that lump dropped like a lead ball...

Just a quick post to hook up with other RS6 owners. Just got shot of the couch (BMW 730) and paid the devil with the negative equity.....and now after many extra months of saving up I have only one more day to wait for the new arrival. O.K its not brand new June '03 with 28K miles but she is a beaut...
