Hi, was .......... the best (but not the right car for me) was a 178k car that had had £0000s spent and flew.....From South London by any chance? I have a feeling that i bought that car, and used it as my daily driver 'company' car for about a year 1/2 . Great memories, including being followed home...

Lazy Windows
I had a problem with my car in that the drivers window would refuse to go down at all. It was fairy intermittent, sometimes it would be fine for a week or so then play up in the morning only to be ok when I drove home. Normally ok to go up but then again it was always paying at car parks etc so if i...

Wheel Alignment
Hi Does anyone know what the wheel alignment figures are? I'm looking for castor/camber for both front and rear. Curious as to how companies 'adjust' the rear since far as I can see it has no adjustment? Need to get car sorted as rear tyres wearing on inside edge. Anyone know what might cause this a...

Thanks for your comments Andrew. Your explanation ties in with what I was beginning to understand. I think that the standard Bosch valve can have a tendancy to oscillate and this was probably the noise that I've heard. I'm sure my car has had this replaced...maybe to a different type which is silent...

I've had to remove my rad a number of times and with it most of the skin from my knuckles. I still can't decide the best way since it's such a squeeze and it's like a 3 layer sandwich, the heavy fan assembly, main Rad & then Air con Rad. I've ditched the air con ( regretting it now! )as it was empty...

Thanks for the replies. I'm currently trying to read up about turbo systems but as I understand it the car doesn't have a dump valve as such but uses the wastgate to lose excess boost.....and maybe this oscillates during operation? I hope I'm not giving the idea that I want the loud woosh that so ma...

Anyone know what holds the rear spoiler on?
My car has the optional rear tailgate spoiler fitted and unfortunately the middle brake light needs refixing. Trouble is I can't see how the spoiler is fixed onto the tailgate. It feels too tight to be glued or held by the side clips so I reckon there must be some bolts hidden away...well hidden. I ...

Wastegate Noise-a lack off?
HI, I'm a new member although I've had my RS2 for some months :D I've read a number of reviews that mention the car 'breathes noisely' on the shifts and test drove a car that chirped just like the rally quattros. My car however remains virtually silent and although the performance seems fine I wonde...
