Thanks for the replies, it was becuase of the shape of the quattro tank afterall, all three are linked together to aid fault finding confusion.

Incase anyone needs to know it does have three sendors, all three are linked which then join to the main car loom through the transfer fuel pump multi-plug.

Turns out the gauge is faulty and it was simply out of fuel. Anyone had trouble with A6 fuel gauges?

Ok, i'm gonna stand up for the dealers here [pleasee don't hate me!, lol] someone mentioned above that the dealer has commented for the last 2 years the front wishbone bushes are cracked but hasn't advised replacment. Ok, i'm gonna stand up for the dealers here [pleasee don't hate me!, lol] someone mentioned above that the dealer has commented for the last 2 years the front wishbone bushes are cracked but hasn't advised replacment. As i'm sure you know the bottom arms are about £90 each and if the dealer replaced...

Although, if the system is sensing a fault with the tyre it may impair performance from a safety point of view?

I know it's not a S car but i'm hoping you guys can help! I have a 2000 A6 Quattro 2.5 tdi avant which hasn't got any fuel at the filter housing, i've pulled up the carpet and to my suprise i've got three inspection holes?
