B9 RS4 Mudflaps/Arch Guards?

Is there such a thing?

I’ve had AP arch guards on an F80 M3 which have reduced stone chips up the side of the car a reasonable amount.. but I’ve never seen anything similar for the RS4.

RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Whats the fastest you have been ?

Been up to about 165 on a deserted road in my ST205 Celica GT4, someone pulled onto the motorway from a sliproad a loooooooong way down the road... but I reached it very quickly, put into perspective how quickly I was going and as someone mentioned, even 100mph feels positively pedestrian after that...

I know what you're saying Paul, I think Mike summed it up well.. its a question of taking a gamble unless you find one thats had the problem rectified/uprated. The other way would be to know a cars history in detail and know how it has been treated by previous owners.. but thats pretty rare, special...

RE: Re: RE: Turbos

Jeeezo, didnt realise it was an engine out job, that'll explain the labour costs then!! :o Ok, definitely no point in sticking standard stuff back into it if the cost of upgrading isnt toooooo much more. :D I know my way around an engine bay, comfortable servicing my daily runner myself.. but specia...

RE: Turbos

Ok guys, thanks a lot for the response... To be honest, I've always thought that if an OEM part fails and the option to upgrade is there, it makes more sense to do it rather than stick back 'potentially' problematic parts again. Considering that reconditioned KO3's would cost 800-900 to do. What sor...

Turbos

Ok, I'm aware that the answers here will depend on individual circumstances.. but looking for a more general answer!! What sort of life expectancy would you think a pair of stock B5 S4 Turbos would have if they are being used to run Stage1 Boost Levels (quoted power is c330bhp and 400lb/ft) of gener...

A gentleman would conceed that because you were here first, you get first refusal on any cars that come up for sale.... Thats what I assume a gent would do anyway!? :P:lol: Nogaro Blue just sets it just that wee bit apart from the rest of the A4 range IMO.. Dont know if you've seen it or not, but th...

Thanks for the welcome guys... :) Daz, only difference is the price of the MAF's on these cars... but you dont buy them if you're going to have to skrimp and save to run the thing so I'm prepared for an increase in cost of parts!! I'd prefer an Avant, I'm a big fan of the sleeper look and extra flex...
