I cancelled AFTER the buildslot was confirmed. But they never gave me a confirmation until it was confirmed (as far too late) and they also only told me the conditions of the lease would be very different AFTER having confirmed the buildslot... Which is a pretty  technique as you wait to give ...

Cancelled order: Audi declines a refund on deposit

Cancelled order for my RS4 Avant last week for two reasons: 1. Audi didn't honour the Contract Hire quote and changed to 'offer' to a 40% higher one. 2. The car would arrive Mid October, not Mid August and Audi Basingstoke failed to offer a solution for keeping me mobile during those months (my old ...

Good thinking M80. Wouldn't be surprised dealers and salesman are accepting small 'presents' from new customers and are discreetly swapping the orders around. My car was promised for delivery mid August and seems to now only be built end september. Add the build and delivery, that means probably at ...

Ex-car journo, ex-test driver for a german car manufacturer.

Nowadays pimp and ful time negociator with Audi (so they would fulfill the contract and deliver my RS4 on time !).

In my spare time I work as Strategy Consultant (mainly supply chain strategy)

True. It's pretty clear why the need of using 0W. As I spend quite a bit of time there, my car has an engine heater like most locals. But still, when it's -30C or below, the engine cools down very quickly while you're at the supermarket and you're on a good coldstart again after one hour. My puzzle ...

I'm a bit puzzled. When they say build week, is that the week it's actually finished or when it's started ? And does it really take 8 weeks from then to actually get it delivered ?? The one I got on order seems build week 38, so somewhere mid september. If that means delivery somewhere end S...

We are talking about the old skool RS4 Avant (B5). Haven't heard of any downsides to Stage I-III remapping if using credible providers, as long as your girlfriend doesn't change down to fourth @ 150 mph  :? Erm... I done that too  All jokes apart, I understand better if it's the B5 as tu...

Question:

Downsides of the remap Stage I (or II, III,) ?

Are we talking about the old, turbocharged, RS4 (which is probably much easier to tune since you can play with the turbo, intercooler etc) or about the new, atmospheric RS4 (which I think will not be as easy to remap at all).
