I had similar (different car) where a new set of non-rusty bolts were fractionally too long. When everything was first tightened up, fine, but after a while it would start to click. It was eventually solved by machining just enough off the bolts - drove me nuts for a while (excuse the pun)..just see...

Second RS I've heard of in the general area to have this done in the last few months - the other was Battersea..

Passed up the opportunity to buy that car in 2006 when it was at an independent dealer somewhere in Surrey, and bought a RS4 instead..

She Sells Sanctuary might have taken residence on the stereo if I'd bought it..

Still remember winding my window down on the M40 for a flypast from no.1 - that Avus sounded epic!!

The best way to avoid any further issues would be to have the system removed, and coded out - speak to a reputable tuner rather than Audi to have this done

The secondary air system is only really there to control emissions on a cold start, and is not used when the car is up to temp.

Always makes me cringe when I hear this, there's been too many cases of like this in the area (I'm in Battersea) - not always limited to RS cars either.

Hopefully this scumbag will be off the streets for a while..

When I looked at what was in the carpark when I arrived, I had thought I was going to be lucky to make it past the first few runs, let alone make it into the semis - I was in the 911. The distance was nowhere near long enough to see similar to either VMax or 30-130, and I was happy to go over 160mp...

Was a pretty good day out, and was happy to get the chance to experience some of the current range (was there with SRS). The experience of Millbrook was worth it on its own, although would have been good to be allowed to go a bit faster on the bowl. Timster did look a bit pale after being in the rea...

Really disappointed I couldn't make this today.
