I've just changed back red EBC pads to Ferodo ones. Had them for last 13.000km (about 8.000miles) and I was extreme disappointed. They just destroyed my new disc (I use RS6+ front brakes). Comparing to Ferodos there was no braking power/fading and lot of noise. In my opinion - highly unrecommended :...

I think my car doesn't need any exterior changes/tuning maybe except alloys from time to time (18 inch of course because of our roads). Next week I'm going to re-tune my ECU after last exhaust mods and will make show of dyno graph. But nowadays I can feel the difference (592Nm of torque). Didn't mee...

Sorry, I've written some polish text for Sql. Just explained him "flexi joints" issue and recommended Bilstein PSS9 suspension instead of springs change.
Will try not to use here our complicated language (popular in Britan these days, isn't it?).

New toys, more power

After deciding not to sell my car (lack of idea "what should be after RS4") I've ordered hi-flow cats and downpipes. And just received my new toys from Germany :P After mounting this set and dynoing the car we were impressed... 592Nm (from 3200 to the very end) of torque and 445KM (without any ECU m...

Thanks for your piece of advice and useful remarks. Yesterday night we've adjusted my PSS9 positioning it at number 8 (it's enough considering roads condition in Poland), we've adjusted also height and now it's more or less like standard one. First impression: I'VE GOT GO-CART (almost) :P . As I've ...

According to PSS9 height possibility I've got it as high as it was possible and my car looks rather like RS4 Allroad but even than cornerig isn't any problem. I'm looking forward handling after adjusting. 8) Should be fab. These new toys... Will report my feelings after final adjusting (it's t...

So far so good especially comparing to "old" one but I expect much more fun after adjusting it  . As you probably know it possesses 9 modes of damping. Now (till Thursday) I'm driving the most comfortable (no 9) mode, which is more or less like the stock suspension, but I'm going to shift it to...

RS4 standard height. Help needed.

Last friday I've changed my suspension (by Quattro GmbH) to brand new Bilstein PSS9 . Nowadays I'm going to adjust PSS9 to maintain standard height (it would be important not to cut down on any milimeter because as a stock car it is low enough) but only piece of information I know is the stock car h...

Try to think over purchasing of a set of Defi Link Meters. I own these and I'm very pleased of them. I've installed them in the middle part of dashboard not to demolish any part of the car. You can see how they look (black when turned off, when turned on red needles and white digits - similar as fac...

No doubts about such a change  I owned S3 done by ABT and improved by my friends from VTG and must admit it was very nice car, much nicer than brand new Subaru STI (powered by Prodrive) I owned as a next one. In that case it wasn't perfect choice :? So, I changed STI to 2001 RS4 and I love this...

Check it after 20-30 minutes from the moment you switched off the engine (follow the user's guide).
Good luck.

Aim: 900 Nm; Q: which clutch? help wanted

Friend of mine is going to rebuild his RS4. His aim is to achieve about 900 Nm (memento: stock car has about 440Nm). Of course he is going to use such a monster as an everyday car. And here is the problem: kind of a clutch. Which clutch to put in to achieve running/smooth everyday driving mo...

I use Castrol TWS 10W-60 - I think it's very nice especially for turbo engines going in pretty hot climate conditions.

Cheers.

60.000 km - the same mileage for original and non original spark plugs, DENSO would be of recommended in case of remap.

Regards.
