I'd love to order one, but can't bring myself to order a car I haven't driven, plus I have this horrible feeling thats its very very quick but with no sense of involvement or even a long term pride in what I've bought I personally would like to see where the 997 turbos are price wise when the GTR co...

Sorry no, I only had a camera phone with me. Also the cab' only went around once. There were a few people there with long lens cameras who may have scared them off from doing anymore.
I'll see ifsomeone has posted one on another site.

I've used Bexley before, mainly as they're cheaper than my nearest one, by a considerable margin, they've always been helpful and the milage hasn't crept up more than just moving the car around the car park. Its all seems odd to me therefore that this has happened. Thats not to say it didn't. You co...

RE: Re: R8 V10...??? (petrol)

Saw the R8 V10 at the 'ring this week during the testing week. two to be precise. One in gloss black, with I think a manual box (could only really tell from the sounds) and a flat black one with a semi aut by the sound of the downshifts. Both sounded amazing and cornered flat and level through Brunc...

Ok follow on question. Got my Geo sorted (the problem that caused the one worn tyre) so where do I go now to get a new one. i.e. where seems to offer best service and price for new tyres?

Changing one worn tyre

I had a wheel allignment problem which has meant the nearside front looks like its done 4k more than every other tyre. Do I really need to change EVERY tyre because of it or can I just change the fronts etc?

Thanks Mikeyboy

I've just sold mine too :( was a combination of quite a few reasons but ultimately it came down to a Cayman S test drive when I was at a loose end one afternoon and a sudden realisation that, having had a Mk V R32 before the RS4, I wanted something completely different for a while I do fear slightl...

brakes drum under hard braking

Been on a holday where I put in about 2k of driving. every now and again I had to brake pretty hard. (Belgians and Italians are not very observant) There was a peculiar drumming noise when I did. No vibration in the peddle or steering so I'm not entirely sure its a warped disc. Does anyone have any ...

RE: Turning heads

I've never had anyone pay much attention to it which was great. I had a guy in another Sprint blue one looking ta it when I went through belgium last weekend and on the way back some guys in a Portuguese Corsa were photographing it so it looks like they at least knew what it was. No-one else though....

I've only ever used standard 95 ron, is there really a difference with 98? Its on the sticker on the inside of the fuel flap. Its in the manual and the dealer should have told you before you drove away for the first time. How did you not know that it was designed for 98? I am always staggered that ...

While I believe that they may stick on a couple of turbochargers, I really wouldn't be surprised if it ends up just being put on a massive diet over the S5. It'll make it handle better than the M3 which is getting criticised for being too lardy. I love the line in the Car magazine article. 450 hp is...
