Re: Would you?

I think the B7 will feel like a go kart compared to the C7 A6, especially if you're coming from a 3L. Biggest negative you'll notice is comfort and luxury imo. If you can live with that then you'll be alright.

Silver Wheels > Titanium Wheels

Found a used car that's perfect spec except the wheels are silver not titatnium. Am I right in thinking it's simple a matter of paint colour/refinish and can easily be changed over to titanium and look the same as the titanium wheels?

Re: Front Center Arm Rest Query

It does seem to depend a lot of your body type. I find it perfect and wouldn't be without it(I'm tall, long limbs) but I know when others have driven the car it gets in their way.

Re: Front Center Arm Rest Query

Front Armrest was a no cost option when I ordered my car in Spring 2007.

Re: B7 to C7

I was getting £12k discount on mine, sensible spec and with £20k deposit. Would have cost me £37k in interest and depreciation(going off the GFV). I know that's the name of the game at this price but I realised I just wasn't that well off to be losing all that.

Re: B7 to C7

I ordered one and then cancelled it. I had two test drives, one with dynamic steering, one without. I haven't driven the car long enough to give a truly well formed opinion but.... In a way, it made me love my RS4 more. You never forget you're driving an RS4 in the B7 even when you're driving around...

Re: B8 issues (purchasing) inc configurator and test drive..

I had two test drives in the RS6 recently at two different audi's, one extremely brief, the other 20-30 minutes or so. On both occasions the salesman knew ZERO about the car, nothing. At another Audi recently the salesman tried to sell me a car without having a car for me to test drive!! "It's defin...

The big wheels make the car imo. First box to be ticked.

Re: B7 RS4 Picture Thread

8 year anniversary, give or take a day or two. Found my original pics when I got the car in 2007(1&3) and went to same place today to take some more(3&4). Not sure how much longer I'll keep it, 8 years is a long time but it's been good, so good that everytime I've thought about changing, I've decide...

I've never ordered a car from my local dealer. It's amazing how much level of discount varies from group to group.

Wheel refurb....

Had my wheels powder coated, kinda wishing I hadn't to be honest....noticed when I bought it home one section of one wheel in particular looks awful to my eyes, first pic, where the spokes meet the centre...I'm not being unreasonable am I? Been told they'll re do it but I think i prefer paint.

Re: Buying an RS6 for Dummies...

If your dealer is only offering 6k contribution then go somewhere else. Everyone gets the 6k off so not to be offered anymore is a bit <beep>.

I cancelled my order but I was getting over £12k off a £86k list car.
