RE: towbar on an rs6

One note is that they will need to cut a small amount off your rear apron to fit a towbar. I was told you wouldn't be able to see it, but chose not to go that route nonetheless.

RE: Still no car!

Dave, My (limited) understanding is that the suspension is linked diametrically opposing corner-to-corner, and the system then increases and decreases pressure between them accordingly to help eliminate body roll etc. The issue is that a fair number of owners have experienced leaks, which requires r...

RE: Mats on wheels!

Hi fellas, Not been on for a while due to work work work. It will be a real shame to see the car go tomorrow, but I feel I have scratched an itch. What will I miss? Well... The interstellar straight-line performance The interior / build quality The endless admiring looks and comments The load carryi...

Okay, I've now fixed the loose rivet in the sill extension but the rattle is still there. Most of the time, the rattle sounds like it's somewhere in (or below) the nearside doors. Just occasionally it sounds as though it's coming from the luggage area. I also get the impression that the car isn't p...

Still loving my E39. The RS just cannot compare dynamically I'm afraid, either on road or track. However I appreciate that's not what everyone is looking for. I've been lucky enough now to own both and drive both on and off for a couple of months, and despite similar specs, they are like chalk and c...

Steve, in all honesty other than PH I've not even advertised it yet, I've been off the last 2 weeks almost with flu too. In fact I actually drove it to Chertsey and back on friday last week (EA, Bob :)) because it was easier in the fri night M25 traffic than the M5 :D Just renewed the insurance for ...

LOL! Awesome Bob, how did you get that gig? I've done a couple of game development books a few years back, still get the odd $100 royalty cheque in the post.

BTW the Rebecca lass won the people's choice, but cheers for the votes anyway fellas.

30 minutes to vote for me!

I've been lucky enough to be shortlisted to the last five of the business entrepreneur of the year type thing for 2006. Part of this is also a public vote where people can choose their favourites (or their friends, or people who have bribed them.) I've just been to the event to give my presentation ...
