I dont see a problem with what you are proposing there with your set up and MRC would also be able to map your car if you sent your ECU to them

Think you will find that the mirrors have a built in thermostat therefore operate automatically depending on ambient temperature.

So if yours are on all the time the stat is buggered and if they don't work at all then the heating element is probably buggered.

In the absense of my digital camera i have made a comparison/list of the red 10 pin connector pinouts on the Concert 2 radio. Is it possible to let me know which ones i have to swap over? In that case i guess i need to swap some wires over on the red 10 pin connector as the pin outs are different on the Concert 2 but which ones do i swap and to where? The radio model No is 4BO 035 186 Q if that helps. It would be great to get this sorted as everything else works ok with the set up in...
