Re: DK,s old car??

It's in Germany. This is training rather than a launch sorry - looking forward to driving, hear it sounds a bit like the B5 RS 4.

Mike is in the right ballpark

Although I'm on the RS 5 launch in three weeks so still get my RS fix. 8)

Re: DK,s old car??

Oil seal and oil pump were replaced by Jack Barclay Audi in Wandsworth probably over two years ago now, the last thing I had done was a new battery and alternator which will have barely a few hundred miles on them and still carry the two year Audi parts/labour warranty, aside from that MRC did some ...

Re: EPC issue

Yes, I had this. New throttle body, as MRC suspected throttle position sensor which is built into the throttle body, that didn't work, next was some wiring to the ECU, tested hard on dyno, all ok, soon returned... It will occasionally come on again on hard throttle, need to have it back in but been ...

First time on a tow truck!

Haven't posted in a while, and today - looking at the last time the mileage was recorded on Dec 24th versus the AA's breakdown report, the C6 has only done 214 miles in that time! New alternator and battery time, plus coolant pipes and anything else while the front end is off. Plan is to use it excl...

Re: Rs6 run in January

Confirmed for the US market. Unsure about everywhere else, I'd like to think so. An RS 3 saloon would be epic, best sounding car in the range, by far. I'd buy an RS 3 for the noise alone.

Re: Rs6 run in January

They have! The B9 is back to a V6 turbo'd engine. I saw it in the flesh last year, can't wait to drive it. They had it right with the B5 imho.

Re: Rs6 run in January

I've driven more B8 S4/S5's than I can remember, and the V6 in the B8 isn't in the same league as the 5.0TT V10. Not even close. Anyone driving a B8 Sx from the C6 will be hugely disappointed in the performance. That's not a criticism of the B8, more of a testament to the C6.

I beg to differ, no Audi main dealer is going to get excited that there's cash ready to go vs funding on a used RS 6.

Re: Rule 1; A Trilogy of RSs

As long as you're looked after, it's always better to deal locally IMO.

How does the RS3 handling compare with the B7? I've ran the RS 3, but never had a proper drive in a B7, I am determined to own one in the future.

:notworthy:

I could listen to the noise of that RS 3 all day.

Agree, the B7 is my pick of the three, too.

Great collection, Mike. Maybe one day I can supply you with one. :P

Re: Paying off PCP Early

Is the invoice price exactly the same on both quotes? I'm wandering if one is for a standard RS6, and the second for an RS6 PE? Clutching at straws, as the PE has a circa £5k higher residual. The bigger deposit is buying you a lower monthly payment, and won't effect your final payment. The only thin...
