Would it be a bad wire conection ?S4INT wrote:Check the diversity receiver in the boot (near the CD player) The aerial connections can become detached from the circuit board inside. Think this costs about £80 for a new unit, or if you are any good with a soldering iron, you could fix it yourself!

Sidelight warning lights and front airbag
My dashboard Sidelights indicator is permanently on even when the lights are off. Anyone had this problem? Also cant seem to turn on the passengers air bag, it is showing that it is turned off on the central interior light above the dash.
Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for the information John. I will send you all the details you have asked for to update the register ASAP. Thanks also for your offer of the letter with regards to the chassis number, I will let you know if I need it, but it looks like its getting sorted now. Thanks to all who have posted. It ...

I have spoken to the vendor again this morning. He has contacted Audi and has been told that Audi will send a letter to confirm the RS model designation starts with the prefix of WUA instead of the normal prefix of WAU and that no other Audis carry either chassis number. He will then be sending off ...

Knowing that the WUA code is an RS code gives me some comfort. I think it is probable that it’s a typo. I have spoken further to the DVLA the want the owner to supply a rubbing of the chassis number ( as in brass rubbing ) to prove that it’s the WUA code. They will then do a cross check to see if th...

Chassis numbers code difference
I am considering buying a car, which I have put a deposit on, but there is a discrepancy between what is shown on both the service book and the chassis number shown under the windscreen and what appears on the logbook. It was brought to my attention when I did a HPI check. The logbook shows a code w...

My car is a September 2001 so also will be in year 5 this year. I would be grateful if you would give me the contact details for Mondial so I can get a quote. Tried a quote from the RAC. Max claim is £3,000 which won’t go far but the quote was cheap. I would have probably gone with Audi if I hadn’t ...

Warranty direct
Hi first post so here goes. Has anyone had any dealings with warrantees direct? I am thinking of covering my car with this company. They cover most major parts turbos etc up to £5000 on any one claim and covers 100% ware and tear up to 60000 miles. I have been quoted £790 for year 5 cover, which loo...
