<Raises hand> Mine failed in 2006, inept repair (dealer replaced shocks, but did not replace central valves first time). After valve replacement, continued to drive like crap. Opted for coilovers 2007.

When I had discs/pads replaced, I did an aggressive bed-in immediately .... hard braking from 60 mph down to 10 mph, repeated 5-6 times in succession; lots of smoke, but no shudder and NO SQUEALING!

If your car becomes quirky going over bumps, then perhaps it means that the dealer did not replace the central accumulators when they replaced the front shocks. It is imperative that they do so, or else there will not be sufficient pressure in the system. Read page 43 (or thereabouts) in this link: ...
