For those that have given sensible replies many thanks. I'm not going to be crying at night over the consumption but was just curious as to how the cars compared.

Only had the car a few days so can't tell you what I get on a long A Road/Motorway journey. Seems like my car is a little worse than the RS4 but not that much. I suppose its something I have to accept when driving a big 4 door saloon with supercar power

Whats your fuel consumption?

Hi guys. Been many months since I've been on this site. I had ordered a RS4 which I cancelled back in June due to financial reasons. Also the RS4 was a little tight on space for my needs. Anyway I now have one of these beasts instead http://i151.photobucket.com/albums/s157/deepsingh_photos/car015.jp...

Declined my RS4 on arrival!!

I was looking to sell my RS4 which was to arrive now. I did actually have a customer lined up. Anyway when the dealer rings me up to say the car has arrived he also mentions that there is a difference in the spec as compared to order. No rear isofix, but no problem as that can be retrofitted. But al...

Its got nowt to do with size or weight. I'm under six foot and slim but the seats are uncomfortable after 30 minutes or so. This won't be the case for everyone but for a significant group it will be. The buckets are not meant for comfort, they are designed for aggressive driving

Difficult to prove, as someone has said, as a road dyno uses lots of calcs and assumptions including drivetrain losses. Hence the same car will get different numbers on different dynos. Saying that I'm sure I've read somewhere that people have taken action against manafacturers before because of the...

RE: Are you brave enough...

Steve, I've never seen a na car modded for any real gains without adding superchargers/turbos etc. This costs £7000 + and will nullify warranty, be obviously detectable and probably decrease resale value. Hence the market for such products will be tiny, unlike your car where a significant proportion...

RE: Are you brave enough...

Steve, its only really fun to rr modded cars to see what difference the tweaks have made and pick up tips from others. I've never rr'ed a standard car which has no real margin for tuning

RE: Re: RE: It

Yes many cars are turning up early. The company that were going to buy my RS4 on delivery have had to pull out because their Avants are coming early and so they can't hold all that stock. It may turn out that cars for delivery Mar/apr 07 start turning up in Oct onwards. Audi have been underhanded, t...

Thats the only thing I can imagine. In which case the dealer is telling porky pies. Which doesn't matter if the chap wants the car earlier anyway I suppose!

RE: It

That doesn't make sense. How can a car arrive 4 whole months early?
