Would like to hear feedback from real customers of any aftermarked exhaust for the RS4. Its Christmas and I'm in the market for a present for myself why is it that wive's would never consider buying you a new exhaust as a present?
Thomas at Audi replied to my email query this morning stating that it looked like the resolution would be available to us (those on his list) in Jan and he said that they were 'considering' resolving it FOC but that handn't been confirmed yet.
Does anyone else here suffer from continual reminders, flashing/fog lamps, that they have their full beam headlights on when infact they don't? Every night drive I do has at least one and generally more and i'm getting paranoid. I use to think it was just that I had bright xenon headlights but now I...
Is it the case the the RS4 needs some UK specific hardware enhancement or is it, as I've read, purely a matter of Audi not licensing TMC for the UK and if they do just providing a TMC licensed DVD? My TMC worked lovely once I crossed the channel last week although she did keep nagging about slow tra...
I had the clutch problem and have had the pipe replaced - works like a treat now. Before I was having the odd problem with the clutch feeling incredibly stiff but more frequently the clutch peddle, and hence engaging, taking an age and this caught me out a couple of times with some nasty over-revs. ...
Is it possible to retro fit the black optics pack?
I have daytona grey RS4 Saloon without and considered it in my options list but at that point there were no pics around. Love DG colour and think the optics pack give it just that little more aggressive edge.
Nas, I totally agree it is the same problem and my service technician called yours and that's where I have the information from. Thought I would just try and report it to the forum as accurately as I could for others. Diffently this pipe not being able to withstand the pressure (-ve) it is under. Wo...
Right, turns out the problem is a Vacuum Pipe that is matalicised rubber, or rubberised metal, that forms part of the clutch assistance. The pipe isn't strong enough in construction to withstand the vacuum that forms and it collapses temporarily and that causes the clutch not to return quickly. I gu...
Nas, Thanks for the contact details. I contacted Audi Huntingdon this morning and they should be speaking to Richard soon. I was just playing with it this week trying to work out what the characteristics of the problem were before I spoke with Audi but last night it gave me such a fright when the cl...
Nas, Sorry to hear your car's been off the road for that long. Anyway, you have your baby back now - go and enjoy. No problem on way to station yesterday but on way back it showed up again. Hate to say it mate but I'm glad you went through this problem first and have sorted it - hopefully I can jujs...
Car is at 1050 miles and has developed a clutch problem. I'm assuming it is something wrong on the hydrolic side but any suggestions would be useful. Clutch gets harder as the car gets faster (approximate relationship) and peddle is also very slow to return. Seems to get harder the quicker you cycle...
It's the kind of thing you might imagine an ECU doing, gradually increase the rev limit and power delivered by the engine (and it is done on other cars I beleive) but was very skeptical when I heard of this especially the 30% suggestion. My dealer told me to just make sure the engine was warm but ot...
I've read two post on RS6.COM over the weekend that suggest, back by Audi Technical, that the RS4 ECU limits the engines power until 1000 miles when it opens up the flood gates. Can nayone confirm this, and if so by how much as a whopping 30% was suggested? I'm at 920miles by the way and loving ever...
