Many thanks Nige_RS4. I'll give that a try! I've either got a loose screw or the speaker is going. The problem only shows itself when its hot and goes away completely during the winter

Assuming it is the speaker, did you replace your speaker like with like or are there better alternatives?

Sounds like my left front speaker is going. Does anyone know if it's a straightforward job to replace?

This is a common problem?! I bought my S4 last August and first noticed a rattle on the way home. Finally after 4 trips to various Dealers over 8 months, Swindon Audi diagnosed the fault as the Exhaust manifold, estimated cost of repair £2300 ish. Aon Warranty are refusing to cover it, same story as...
