I attended this course last Tuesday - they do have a circular one but I found the longer wet course-stretch to be of better use - zig-zagging down it was not easy to begin with with plenty of 360 turns until I got the hang of it but I have a RWD CSL so you may find the circular one better with 4WD! ...

I was going to try and join you guys but I can't swap my days off around with work unfortunately.

I'm now booked to go on this course on the 17th April - will let you know how the day goes.

Unfortunate but a wise decision. I wonder if anyone is insured given the reluctance from all the insurers I've approached!

yes quite oddly you are insured 3rd party. As usual the devil is in the detail and to a certain extent I'd agree with those on PH who say 'challenge the decision' in the courts as even my policy doesn't explicably name the Nurburgring as an exclusion - just one way deristricted toll roads! I imagine...

I've spent a lot of time recently looking into the insurance situation at the 'Ring and it seems recently it is quite a hot topic. For those who think they are insured because their policy 'does not' specifically exclude it then take notice of the following thread from PistonHeads: Bad bad news. Som...

so what are you all doing insurance-wise or are you not bothering with it? It appears very very few companies insure for the ring.. Got to say I won't be going unfortunately unless I can resolve this.
