I was told my discs were nearly gone at my last service, and being tight I decided to wait until the DIS light up - and lo, 8 months and 7k miles later they seem fine!

My judder at 46k was a worn track rod end. It gradually got worse over 500miles - meanwhile I'd tried all the disc bedding stuff.

I went from an 03 STi (265 horses, more torque but for less time) to a 06 RS, and the latter is much more grown up. The STi was great, but runs out of grunt much earlier. On a 7/10th of a mile private road I know, with a rolling start off the perimeter track I got to 130 recorded in the STi, and 142...

How long did it take? Can you see any dodgy joins in trim afterwards? U done this before?
