Boost Gauge v Actual Boost
I have a boost gauge fitted as per the AW giude, it reads 17 psi boost when at WOT but lately I dont think the car is boosting properly, no rush of torque etc.
Could I have a boost leak and still show all Ok on the gauge?
Cheers

Well after getting the car fixed a couple of weeks ago, the turbos have tripped out again, on investigation today i found a pipe which didnt look to be sealed properly. I dont have VAG COM, It looks like I will have to get it from the states - any idea how long delivery time is? Also is there anyway...

RE: Boost Leak fixed, Star RR results posted
Wheel figure is 225 bhp with drag output at 88 bhp Zero, MAF is 2 weeks old , so I would hope that is unlikely - maybe I am reading the log thing wrong but thats the highest number on it (G70) Ooops, Just seen a 244 below it. I thought 208-220 was the reading for a std car. Mods are Miltech single e...

RE: Boost Leak fixed, Star RR results posted
It will prob go down a bit with more miles to average over ( and a lot of the 45 was motorway at 70+ish
), but I was getting 27 even with the boost leak.

If your talking about the clips for the small vaccum hoses the just use cable ties on them this is what I've done after i replaced my DV's etc after suffering a similar problem. I'd also suggest getting it along to MRC for a health check if your still having problems No, I think he meant the main b...

Oh Oh, Cant be good!!
Well I discovered why I am getting so good MPG last night. Vagcom threw up a fault code - something to do with boost pressure devation will post more details when i get the log file. Rolling road showed that the turbos are boosting then immediatly shutting down, not holding the boost. Max BHP was on...
