Re: Moving on
It was my second one and I will miss it, however there are some other financial commitments I have taken on, family growing up and the other car a JCW Mini is getting a little small so it looks like I will be in a Golf R for a little while and chop in the mini in a year or so's time for something a...

Re: Cleaning routine and products
On a ceramic coated car you don't need really fancy products or gadgets, it's about the method you use: 1. Power jet-wash the car and wheels to lift the dirt and get rid of surface debris. You can snow foam if you want, but it's a waste of time on ceramic coated cars and achieves very little. 2. Spr...

Re: Gasoline Particulate Filter (GPF)
I picked up a brand new petrol car at the start of the month, which has a GPF fitted. From my research it would appear the manufacturer started fitting GPFs to the model at the start of 2018 (way before WLPT shutdown). The model car I have pre WLTP had CO2 Emissions of 144g/km, my post WLTP car has ...

Re: Any good offers on these?
My guess is that the OP could get a better deal on a BMW M than the standard ones offered on the web. What I do know is that BMW M4 production way way way exceeds demand in recent times, so dealers are awash with unsold variants of M4s and you can haggle the dealers into even bigger discounts. Audi...

Re: Any good offers on these?
I would ignore the 17.2k contribution. As ever, it is the cost to own, rather than any "discount" that matters. BMW offer huge discounts on most of their cars as a way to draw people in - if they were more honest they would stop using such inflated list prices. If you are happy to spend 32,200 "ren...

Re: RS6 at Huddersfield Audi
The car was for sale at Nottingham Audi in August of this year:
A KM plate means it was probably a Audi owned press/event/experience car, so check the history of it thoroughly before committing as it might have led a very hard life.

Re: This stuff makes me mad - dodgy advertising
Chill out. The trader is an independent, not an Audi specialist. I think the advert is simply a case of the independent dealer not knowing what is on it, and in turn trying to make it sound as attractive as possible on teh information he has been given. To be fair, how many people looking to drop £8...

Re: Would you buy an ex Audi press car?
All the KW67 MW* cars were built for the private press/media launch event Audi UK put on in January of this year. Audi put on a 50:50 split of DRC and non DRC cars, and allowed the invited press/media guests to test back to back. The drivers were taken out, then allowed to go out on their own. At t...
