Never one to push the virtues of a main dealer service - But I needed my rims swapping because they were bent so took the RS in to the local dealer. Got the service paperwork breakdown back and costings (was due a service at 44k anyway) Item 4 was "replaced 1 spark plug" I asked what this was about ...

Hi, Looking for some help and advice. I'm always nervous after taking the RS4 into Audi - sounds ironic I know, but after this occasion I think I might get it serviced by a specialist next time around. Car's just had the 40k belt change last week. A new sound has developed since, I don't know exactl...

Can't speak for the evo 8 experience, but my old Evo 6 Tommi Makinen was incredible in the twisty bits, had a brilliant gearbox / gear change and great brake pedal bite. Not to mention ridiculous acceleration up to about a ton. There's no way on earth those things are 276 bhp - my standard Tommi was...

I drove past in my Avus RS and couldn't see anyone trying to nick it so I presume it was OK.

Hi, A couple of weeks ago I had the milltek cat back system installed on my RS4 - now it sounds like a real car. I love it, but the system is a little wider on girth and seems to catch in multi storey's and speed bumps more than the standard pipes, which in this country as you know means lots of tee...

Service Timing
Hi, My RS4 is booked in for end of the month, for 34k service. But the service warning has come on a little earlier than expected. How many miles can you go over the mileage without voiding the warranty? I think I may do about 60 miles between the light coming on and getting the job done. Other cars...

Re: How many RS4 owners in here?
It was quite dirty, but aren't they all at this time of year? I was on foot and the Noggy was at the lights near the train station - with your missus?
My missus drives the car during the week, I commute to London - could be her you see...
Hoping to get to Windsor if work eases a little.

I have one of the seemingly many Surrey Avus RS4s. Saw a noggy RS4 in Guildoford last week. Anyone here?

CAT
Hi, Anyone know of a humane way to keep next doors cat from jumping on my bonnet at night, it's leaving deep and long scratches on my passenger wing in its attempts to get up there - so deep that T-Cut is no use. I've tried lemons which worked but it looks silly and I felt stupid tossing lemons slic...
