However, demo already sold, and new build is now delivery March next year as their allocation of 10 cars has gone so I'm seco...

I agree, who knows you may get lucky.
Indeed, just taken one for a test drive and from order to delivery, 4 months. Ex demo available in 3 months, no discount either apparently.

RE: New RS6 Test drive

Test drove the new RS6 today, not a long drive and no real twisty stuff but half a hour blast on some motorway and A roads. Interior was smart, no change over my S6 really but liked the adjustable ride settings, my S6 is terrible on bad roads. But in comfort mode in the RS6 it's at least as good as ...

Never heard anything from them, emailed same questions a few weeks later in case the original email got lost to cyberspace but Milltek never came back to me.

RE: Changing xeon lights for driving in France

Just had a conversation with the dealer who is now quoting two hours labour which equates to £246.75. Apparantley they have to take the bumper off to get to them. If thats right does that mean to change a bulb you have to do exactly the same? I think I'm being spun a load crap so bollocks to it I've...

Update - I got a reply from Phil Millington at Milltek saying they do still need a car. I emailed a few questions to him last Friday but I'm yet to hear anything. I'll keep you posted.

Slightly ignorant of the whole VAG-COM thing. Does this mean you have the software on a laptop and you can plug your own car into it and control the diagnostics from the laptop? If so, its still a trip to the dealers for me.

Changing xeon lights for driving in France

Just spoken to the dealer who tells me there is a lever built into the lights which pulls a cover over the left side to stop blinding oncoming drivers. Wants 1/2 an hours labour to do this. There is nothng in the manual, anybody know how to do this?

RE: Milltek Exhaust

Tempting, but despite what they say I'd always worry about handing over the keys. Having your car used as a testbed would worry me. I wonder what sort of power gain they're trying to achieve?

Sorry state I know, but the kerb wasn't my fault guv, NCP claim in progress, the rust is the brake disc, not the wheel. Unless I hammerite it there isn't much I can do until I have new discs, but even then after a while they'll go all rusty. Just a bad design on Audi's part.

Really? I quite like the wheels, only problem is the inner brake disc hub rusts like nobody's business. Valet parking in London the other week managed to well and truly kerb the rear wheel for me as well. You can still see the yellow paint from the kerbs on the tyre. NCP claim in progress.
