Got the car back last Friday. Thanks to Skodaw and the gang at Chester Audi, great job again. Decided to change the OSF caliper as well as the bleed nipple was dodgy too. So spent all weekend driving. Went into the Welsh Mountains on Saturday and just teared around for 5 hours, great fun. This car ...

Having seen it in the flesh its a great piece of kit. Needs springs Dave, but I guess your fed up of hearing me say that. The build quality is fantastic. The clunk from doors, boot and bonnet oooze quality. If it takes more than 4 weeks to get my RS6 back I'll be buying one and ordering my Exige ea...

Great car Dave, not sure if i prefer it as much as an S4 but i sat in one at frankfurt motorshow and the gear box felt very nice and the dials looked very cool! How much if you dont mind me asking? With the spec listed above --- just over £21k , which I think is an absolute bargain. So far I have b...

Re: RE: Caliper Failure
Well thanks to Audi Chester again , one caliper being replaced under warranty. Unfortunately my calipers don't have RS decals on them so I am having to pay for a second so they match. Trouble is parts are on back order to Germany and I can't source my own quicker without paying for the lot. Got a c...

Respect Dave. Lovely car and lovely colour. Was thinking about the same myself but as an estate, and maybe leather too (as long as it's not perforated). Just wondering about an RS diesel though (any news?) or maybe the 4x4 when it comes out as a 140. Had a great trip to Mlada Bolosev with Skoda a f...

Very nice. Was in your place this morning getting the window motor replaced. How was Geneva? Geneva was fantastic, very busy but MUCH better than any of the UK shows. Nice one Dave  Now you can catch up on your sleep  When its run in we'll organise a run into the Welsh mountaints 8) S...

RE: Picked up my Sprint Blue RS today
I went out for a drive anyway -- and ended up in blackpool !! -- so all in all I've covered just over 200 miles today - and all I can say is WOW! I havnt pushed it yet (obviously) but the pickup is really impressive and the ride is stiff but not harsh - from what I can tell so far, it looks like the...

Re: RE: Re: RE: VAG-COM Faults - your help needed
Thanks, Dave. Don't worry, service has been great. Everyone has bad days so I've put this down to an isolated issue  I am feeling better now the above diagnosis has been made. Isn't it funny, when your car's not right you feel down, like someone in the family is not well! Sad really  ...

 We obviously need to teach the girls when they can and can't say "NO" . We do take the opinions of our customers very seriously, and as such we are working on a number of changes behind the scenes which will hopefully improve the level of service we provide to our customers. If anybody has an...

I think it unlikely that Audi will use a TT version of the RS4 V8 -- why use a V8 for a top line model when the model below uses a V10 ??? -- even if the V8 runs 600bhp I suspect whatever engine they use -- we won't see it coming !! -- there is a hell of a lot of engine development in the VAG group ...
