That looks Stunning mate. What shade of white is that? Changing to white has been on my list for ages now justifying the cash spent on spraying it has not been easy especially as if funds allow panels maybe swapped from a certain wide version audi :sekret:

I've gone back to dot 4 from 5.1. The dot 4 though is Motul racing fluid as opposed to the cheap brand 5.1 that I bought. I was getting brake fade before I change the fluid and thought may have been the pads even though they were Porsche endurance pads. Soon as i changed the fluid I noticed a differ...

RE: after run (I think) is this normal?

Any thoughts on where to start, it was a brand new sensor from the stealers. If not mistaken it shows on their sytem as coming from a VW transporter van (Can't remember the part no. but i got it from a post on here 18 months ago when someone did a write up) . Neither before or after the mod has the ...

RE: after run (I think) is this normal?

I changed my sensor for the lower temp one ages ago. I have never heard the fan kick in after turning the engine off even with giving it a fair bit of lead foot treatment not long before i let turbos spool down. Would the after run pump mod kick in when engine at full working temp or does it have to...

having owned a CTR myself they will easily out brake a S4 as well. I used to keep up no probs with a 240bhp golf 1.8T i used to gain a fair bit in the revs as could hold the gears for longer. I'd say a standard s4 not upto perfect condition could lose to one. A looked after and slightly tweeked ones...

RE: 2 and 3 button key fob - b5

not sure but there is a good chance the MHz signal will be different so no amount of coding will get it to work. Have you tried scrap yard? they usually have keys for the cars that are brought in. My local one has a massive tub that can be searched if can find one then can get a blank key section on...

RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: LED sidelights for facelifts B5 S4s

i changed mine few months ago only due to the yellowish light of standard sidelight looking crap next to the xenons. I took a pic so you can see the difference in the bulbs. It might look like doesn't give off much light but from straight on they are a lot brighter then standard. They are possibly a...

Is there any difference with the cayenne calipers (ie turbo s etc..)? Not 100% if the caliper is different or just uses mounting bracket but Porsche do a 18" and 19" wheel version. Usually the 19" minimum wheel ones are red and the others are grey. I have a further question for you experts out ther...

Reaper, Did the Gear 300 make any non-placebo difference? J It feels pretty smooth now when changing gear also the old gear oil was hanging when it was drained. Mate is mechanic in motorsport industry and he recomended me to use this and opie oils was cheapest i saw at the time Think works out at £...

RE: Re: Changing Gearbox & Diff Oils

i did mine couple months ago and stuck 3.2 ltrs in gearbox using motul gear 300. iirc you don't fill the gearbox up like conventional ones where it starts to drip out of the filler hole when you know its full. I measured out the 3.2 ltrs and added it that way. I only live 15mins from Opieoils so its...

RE: Cheaper brake upgrade?

my cayenne calipers bolt on with no bracket needed my biggest prob was finding a suitable disc interms of size and offset. ECS wont sell the centre bells separately on the stage 4 kit so i milled B5 RS4's down and had to shave a little off the back of the caliper mounting arms ( they're thick enough...
