Clearly makes a difference then!
I never put anything other than Tesco 99 or Shell V-Power in my car in almost 4 years of ownership....

Re: Stage 2 with Wagner Intercoolers
Interesting.
I had the MRC Downpipes with secondary cat delete, but otherwise completely stock exhaust and IC's, and wound up with 770hp.
I think Doug did say a Miltek might free up a few more hp....

Re: Tyre recommendation please
Always been pleased with the F1’s on my cars.
I figure since it’s mostly wet in this country, that’s the tyre to be on.

Re: Is The RS6 Good Value?
I personally don't think anyone buys a C6 because they're "good value". They buy one because they like Audis, no one else has ever made a V10 twin turbo Estate, and with a simple tune it does 200mph in a standing mile...which is almost as fast as a £250K Pista. And even if you think you got a "good ...

FWIW, I have the MRC downpipes and secondary cat delete on an otherwise completely stock exhaust.

Re: track days/ airfield days/ Autobahn runs
I didn’t notice any big difference in wind noise going through 190.
Ran with the mirrors folded in FWIW.
I’m fairly sure I have enough space to hit a genuine 200 at Elvington but for the guys braking from the high 200’s, the lights are in the right place!

Re: track days/ airfield days/ Autobahn runs
So me and R33 hit up Elvington today. Exactly as you said Ian. I ran 198 indicated through the lights which proved to be a 187.4. On a subsequent run, I kept my foot on the gas a fraction after the lights and saw 201 indicated. Still in 5th inspite of what the image shows. It must have been imminent...

I'd love to know why too!
I've got a C6 Allroad and a C6 RS6 so I've got to replace 4 at some point!

Re: track days/ airfield days/ Autobahn runs
Anyone have any idea what a Stage 3 C6 will do through the lights at Elvington?
High 180's?

Re: Tyres
Another vote for Asymmetric F1's here.
I like their wet weather pedigree and have had them on all my previous S/RS cars.
I doubt the tyres will make a difference to the way the car feels in any setting unless you're 5 up...
