Re: Oil viscosity
Just to chime in here. I did my due diligence to find the right type of oil. And I didn't even have a top up bottle to start from. At the time i contacted the head of service at Audi Derby who suggested some company Audi UK use for stuff. On using this companies web site search engine to find the c...

Re: Oil viscosity
Anyone know what oil viscosity is recommended for the 2020 RS4 in the UK? Opie oils are saying 0w20 but the car came with a litre of 0w30 shell helix ultra professional AV-L from the dealer. If you guys got a litre in the boot, what were you provided? If you don't mind me asking, did you speak to s...

Re: Choice of Oil ?
Good evening all. Previous (several years) the car has run on Castrol Egde Professional Titanium FST Longlife III 5W30. As i'm unable to find this other places than at the stealership for a price i wont even mention, I'm looking for other options. I have narrowed to the below, All are VW 505.01. Mo...

Re: Oil (Specific Question)
All oils mix, so no issue topping up. If you are not on longlife and you have a longlife oil, still does not matter as you will not be taking it the full distance. Top up with 5w-30 or 5w-40 and all will be good till next oil change

Re: Engine Oil
If on longlife servicing you need VW504.00 to go the distances between changes. Having to use that spec does limit your choice of oils, or type of oils. If you move to fixed service VW502.00 is a broad and quite basic spec, this opens up the doors to loads of choice such as the ester performance oil...

Re: ngk pfr7q spark plugs where to buy?
Having had a quick look, he is a motorfactor based in Halifax. So I know where he is getting his plugs from and probably what he is paying. Like many other motorfactors on Ebay they seem to run on virtually 0% margin, sometimes I wonder if they even realise this. We are £76.50 delivered with RS246 d...

Re: Choice of Oil ?
The 300v is the next level up and is a fantastic oil. It is aimed at the racing world but you can use it for road use no problem, Motul have claimed in the past it is not ideal for doing high mileage (100K) in vehicles with Catalytic converters but I have never heard of any real world issues with th...
