I'm not messing with the 4wd system on a 400bhp RS4 by messing with profiles. Changing all 4 tyres doesn't mess with the 4wd system; changing 1, 2 or 3 only could , but only if the turns per mile were significantly different. You're missing a good tyre (and much better rim protection) for an unfoun...

Bluetooth Fitting - Scotland

I can vouch for the quality of Craig's work, I was one of the RS4 owners he came to Scotland for last year. He installed RNSE and a bluetooth phone module, the quality of fitting is superb and I have had no issues or problems since it was installed approx a year ago.

Re: RE: SD card query

Create a directlory structure similiar to what you would on your PC. then use forward/back and scrolling etc to navigate. Exactly. In the root directory create a folder for each album, and put the files for that album into it's own folder. The RETURN key on the RNS-E takes you up the directory stru...

Solisto

Read about a USB module called Solisto in Audi Driver last month. It is a small module which has a USB port and a cable which plugs into the back of Audi Concert, Symphony etc and gives you the facility to read and play MP3 music files loaded onto a USB memory stick. It can be located either in or b...

Cheers, Tried this and it seems to work however I am finding that the tracks visible on the RNSE screen are not listed in the order that I created when loading on my PC and this is despite also numbering them.
Any idea how to overcome this?

Two Bucket Method

Anyone used the two bucket method for washing? I believe you can utilise buckets with grit guards in them although I am not sure where to get hold of these. Would appreciate a pm if anyone on here knows where to buy them.

Cleaning Brushed Alloy

Can anyone recommend how the brushed alloy trim around the front grille of the B7 RS4 can be cleaned/restored. Wash mine regularly but the finish seems dull and small pit marks remain.

RNSE Playlists

I have recently had RNSE fitted to my B7 RS4 by Craigyb (delighted with the results) and am now getting round to loading music onto 2 No 2Gb SD cards. I would appreciate some advice on the best way to do this, I would like to do two things: 1. Load a number of CD albums onto the cards and be able to...

Detailing Methods/Products

I have always been keen on keeping my car lokking it's best and was content with regular wash, wax, vac etc until I discovered the world of detailing on this forum. Now I would like to start trying my hand at some of the detailing techniques and make my car look even better. I not really sure where ...

you need to go back and kick the tyre fitters arse, the valve on the wheel is also the sender unit for the low pressure warning system and the unit is a tad more than a standard valve to buy.

I still have the damaged wheel, can I remove & refit the existing sender/valve to the new wheel?

Wheel is just over £400 inc vat and the tyres are around £257 inc vat. I just had two new ones as the nice man at tyre dept fooked mine when fitting new tyres and dealer finally replaced another after his attempts to refurbish it ended in several flaking areas. Dont get them refurbished, the coating...

For plates which are bonded with double sided pads I would also recommend you pour warm water over and behind the plates. This will soften the adhesive and reduce any chance of damging your paint work. Would certainly avoid trying to prise of with screwdrivers/ levers of any sort.
