Thanks Nib - I think I will go down a similar route then and the tip to have the cars paint perfected before application is spot on - good to hear that it doesnt stand out against the Daytona colour The price was for the parts only - I have fitted the bumper top sections before but this time I might...

Armourfend - advice on which bits to protect please

Hi I have managed to source an RS4 Avant to replace my fathers RS2. I pick it up on Weds for him - I found one with the spec he wanted: Daytona, with heated buckets, flat bottom wheel, Tech pack and the crucial Sunroof - which made it an extra challenge! Anyway on the RS2 we put Armourfend on the re...

The TTRS option looks like a perfect compromise - RS4 shape but keeping the functionality of the Multi function wheel

Thanks for the tip and the pics

Cheers Daz Do you know who? - I am drawing a blank having rung a few tow bar experts. If we cant get one then he will probably get a 911 as if he has to have another car for towing then it defeats the point of going for practical supercar (RS4) - Dad wants something that can do everything which is w...

Tow Bar

Hi Guys My Dad's thinking about replacing his RS2 with an RS4 Avant. We have a detachable towbar on the RS2 to occasionally tow our boat (dinghy) and would obviously like to do the same with the RS4. I am predicting the usual - "not possible due to overheating" but it must be possible. Any ideas? Ro...

Thanks for reply I thought it could be a loose pipe I want to remove the panel on the tailgate to see if the hose has come off, but typical germanic quality means it is difficult to see how to remove it. I have removed the 2 screws where the recess handle is and the two plastic inserts where the cat...
