just a bump for this in case anybody missed it or plans to go and hasn't said so either here or over on s2forum, we haven't finalised a start time, but I'm guessing 10 at the latest, will post exact details nearer the time

Over on s2forum we've organised a meet on Sunday 30th March at Famous Grouse distillery , Crieff, . If anybody north of the border or elsewhere wants to turn up with any 4ring variant you'd be more than welcome

John, 2 possible reasons I can remember for the error were a bad earth connection or more likely an internal checksum error ( without going into grizzly details) , modified/reprogrammed devices, like all devices generate checksums for various reasons, it's usually just the sign of a 'chipped' device...

No, it's not that the fault codes are hard to read, but rather that the information that can be extracted from these older ECUs is a bit limited. Do you have access to VAG-COM? As Clive suggests, Vag-com should see some error if you can get somebody who can use it, try tow/push starting it , it sho...

they're "dunlop sp sport d40's" don't think they make them anymore !

I've looked in a few places but can't find any threads with this, anybody know what the pressures should be or what others are using ?
