Genuine RS6 alloys

I have a set of 4 genuine RS6 alloys - the 18" 9 spoke option for the C5 shape RS6. 1 has a centre cap missing. The part number is 4B3601025q. I can't remember if the offset is 25 or 30. They are currently clad with Avon tyres with excellent tread (255/40 tyres). The wheels were removed from my A6 4...

Re: Audi A6 4.2 RS6 bumpers + exhaust

Many thanks. I have to say - apologies for poor grammar/spelling - I did rush the car ad! The car now has an MOT until 4th May 2013. She drives superb and I really don't want to sell her, but, I can't have 2 V8s - that would put me up for divorce! I have spent so much money on this car - I love it! ...

Audi A6 4.2 RS6 bumpers + exhaust

Hi, I intend to sell my 1999 Audi A6 4.2 avant soon (in black). This car is basically an S6 (minus 40 BHP). It is in very good condition and has the proper recaro seats (in green), the NAV TV plus, a sunroof, xenons, Bose, etc. I am a self confessed Audi anorak and absolutely love driving this car, ...

RNS-E sat nav unit

Hi,

Sorry if this has been asked before, but, is an RNS-E sat nav unit good as a direct replacement for an RNS-D?

I have the RNS-D unit fitted to my '99 A6 and was just wondering if the RNS-E unit would go straight in without the need for modification?

Cheers, Chris

Re: S6 vs RS6 - the reality

Hi there Yes, that's a fair point about the 4.2. Do the RS6 bumpers etc still fit it (i.e. is it also a flared wheel arch model?) You would definitely want the Recaro's! I actually bought an S6 via eBay and it turned out to have the common gearbox fault, but spotted before I paid so nothing lost (t...

Re: S6 vs RS6 - the reality

Hi, Thought I'd stick my two penneth in here.............. What about considering the difference between the A6 4.2 and the S6? What's the difference? - lots of cash and 40 BHP! (plus S6 grillage and proper recaros). Some of these A6 4.2s do have genuine Recaros - mine has. I absolutely acknowledge ...

Re: Time for a change if your interested

Tony, I did not know you posted this! For anyone interested in this car, I can confirm this car is the business! I am a self confessed Audi anorak and also own a 4.2 A6 avant, with RS6 front and rear bumpers, RS6 exhaust (like Tony's) and genuine RS6 alloys - which nicely fill those monster arches!!...

A6 4.2 leaking rear susp

Hi all, I currently own a '99 4.2 A6 avant - which I love! (One day I may be able to afford it's bigger brother - The RS6!) But for now, I'm looking at buying a newer version of the A6 4.2 - approx 2002, which may have leaking rear air suspension. I believe this may be an expensive fix? Could I just...

RE: Re: WANTED: RS6 Exhaust

Got the exhaust fitted at a little back-street garage, that my friend used for his exhaust change. Rang a few performance exhaust specialists first and had some pretty pricey quotes for the making of the sleeves. I have also added a high flow air filter on a friend's recommendation. I do feel I have...

Re: WANTED: RS6 Exhaust

Hi there everybody, I have just brought a 2002 S6 Avant and was wondering if anybody had changed their RS6 exhaust for something like a Miltech system and was selling their old exhaust on? If not does anybody know where I might be able to find one of these for sale? I will happily unclutter somebod...
